YWAM Santa Fe relaunches Sangre de Cristo Arts with the Come to the Peace Concert

More Concerts & Seminars in the future

Since the beginnings of YWAM Santa Fe in 1998, when Musicians For Missions International moved to the US from Holland, helping to facilitate an "artists community" has been part of the vision. Through the years YWAM Santa Fe has made steps toward this by building relationships with other artistic ministries and Christians who are involved in Santa Fe arts as professional musicians or artists. Sandy Hoffman and Karen Lafferty, pioneers of YWAM Santa Fe, first pursued this vision though a monthly Music and Arts Fellowship. This project was done under the 'Santa Fe focused' division of YWAM Santa Fe called Sangre de Cristo Arts . The name dropped as Karen needed to focus much of her time on international ministries; however, she is feeling the prompting from the Lord to pursue this vision once again though concerts and seminars in the Santa Fe area.

The Come to the Peace concert is one of the first projects of Sangre de Cristo Arts. The aim of this concert is to provide an atmosphere in which Christians and spiritual seekers can come into the presence of the Holy Spirit and communion with God. As people hear from God in their inner man, their lives will be changed.

We are dialoguing with others about various types of concerts and seminars in the future under the heading of Sange de Cristo Arts . Please pray with us as this new 'face' of YWAM Santa Fe develops.
