October 16 - 24 - Honduras Mission Trip

The Honduras Mission trip was scheduled for July but because of political unrest there was postponed until October. There is still some turmoil in the country. Please pray for our team of 15 from First Baptist Church of Santa Fe, which is Karen Lafferty's home church. John Weigle, who was one of three from First Baptist who went on our 2007 Honduras trip, is the main coordinator and has recruited the church members to join. Karen will be the YWAM Santa Fe rep and we will once again be hosted by Donald Buckner of New Enterprise International. Jennifer Bullock will come along to document the trip through photos and video.

The ministry activities will include vacation Bible School, repairing a house for a poor family, church ministry, music ministry, pastors seminar, medical care, taking food to poor families, volunteering in an orphanage and a lot of prayer for the locals.
