December 28, 2006 - January 16, 2007: Karen meets with SOMM staff and teaches the first week.

We are very excited to be holding the second School of Music in Missions (SOMM) in India. Thanga Nohro was a student in our first SOMM in Bangalore in 2001. He helped staff the last SOMM in Santa Fe and is now ready to lead a school. Chad and Meagen Moody (newly weds) will help Thanga staff. Also Atsu who was also in our first Indian SOMM will help staff. It will be running from January 6 - June 1, 2007. Karen will be involvede in team building with the staff and teach the first week of the school on the History of Contemporary Christian Music.

February 6 - 11, 2007: Karen recording in Santa Fe

Karen will again be recording with Jonathan David Brown in Santa Fe. This time they will be working on the back ground vocals and instrumental overdubs. After that, Jonathan will be mixing and mastering the project while Karen works with an artist on the cover design. They are aiming for completiion of the project about March 1st. The new CD entitled "Singin' My Heart Out" will not be released until about June 2007.
